Query about the Hrim Parabrahmanye Namah mantra

Dear Visti, Sarbani, et. al.,

To enhance intuition, a friend who practices Swara Yoga has

advised me to do Chaya (Shadow) Asana along with the mantra

" Hrim Parabrahmanye Namah " . I'm also told that

Parabrahmanye (Para=beyond, brahman...) means Absolute and

it signifies Vishnu.

Could you please tell me if it's necessary to analyze

horoscope to see if this mantra should be chanted or not,

or it's one of those mantras that everybody can chant?

Looking forward to your reply.

Regards,

Promila

Dear Swee,

My friend doesn't have original text that you mentioned;

however, he gave me the following procedure:

1. Stand under clear sky between 7-8 am on a sunny day.

2. See your own shadow and focus on your neck region (on

the shadow)

3. Chant " Hrim Parabrahmanye Namah " 108 times.

4. Close your eyes for a few seconds and capture your

shadow in the chakra between your eyes (third eye).

5. Look at the clear sky and you should be able to see your

shadow.

Hope this helps.

Light!
