Dear Swati,

You were on a good track.

The main point is that people stress the damage to a house where Marana Karaka graha is placed. However, this is not always the greatest damage that is done.

For example, Shukra in 6th house will create more damage to a marriage than to a health or enemies. Thus, this point is often misunderstood.

Graha in marana stana will damage>

1. Bhavas ruled by it

2. Bhavas for which Graha is karaka

3. Bhava where it is placed

Aditya mantras will mostly solve down the problem under 3. while wearing a gemstone for a karaka, where Marana stana graha is placed will deal only

with problem 3. Most people fail when problems pertaining to 1 and 2 are related. In such cases, remedies given will not work.

What you stated about Jupiter is correct. The issue is not that simple when trying to give the best remedy. For example if Marana sthana graha is

placed in Chandradhi Yoga then Adhi devata worship is necessary, or when such a graha is placed in 10th from Surya, a terrible pain will come to

a person, and there is a little a person can do. If in the process, such graha is badly placed from paka Lagna, the intelligence will surely fail in such a graha,

and a person will not perform remedial measure. So, seing partially graha from lagna only will hardly give a comprehensive picture.

levels of MKS of planets.Which karaka you are reffering to? For venus it is clear

that you are strengtning 7th house. However, for Surja in marana sthana would you strengten

Shani, karak of 12th house?

It is often said that when Shani is in lagna, Surja should be strengthened, what about other things?

There are at least 6 or 7 variations of MKS of planets, and their different effects, as well as DIFFERENT

Dear Swati,

You have a point. Both Swee and Zoran tend to speak in favor strengthening the lords of houses that are affected. Zoran brings out additional dimensions too. Sanjayji however appears to emphasize the Karka of the house causing MK. In his mail to Swee he says "He will still need a diamond and not Sapphire as Venus is karaka for 7th house."

In Atri lectures he suggests strengthening Saturn if Sun is in MKS and visa versa and if I got him right the recommendations were not lagna specific.

Hare Rama krsna , Dear Rafal, The point here is the venus is almost dying , and thus with it brings downfall of the houses it lords or is karak off . May be the ghrini beeja and varuna mantra opens up the venus and enliven it in the 6th house. but what about the houses it lords ( 2 and 9) and is the karak of 7 . i remember one mail by Pt Sanjayji, where for taurus lagna, mercury was mks in 7th . he did suggest the Bhrispati mantra for the 2nd and 5th house ( Jupiter is karak of these houses) Thanks Swati Om Tat sat

So why do we chose to pray karak or lords where the MKS happens and not the karak of the houses it owns or lordships of where it is the karak of!). Say for example in venus being MKS in 6th house for virgo lagna, it is the 2nd and 9th house that are not able to deliver, so the karak of these houses Jupiter should be strenghtened . Similarly venus is karak of 7th house m and jupiter is lord of 7th house in virgo, so it is jupiter that should help to strengthen and make these bhavas strong.
