wife battering-help needed

I

am posting for my sister.She loves her husband and serves him with

all her understanding.However, he gets provoked over trivial issues

and most of the time uses harsh words with her. Sometimes he resorts

to battering severely and she suffers from bad bruises not only

physical, but emotional as well.

 

Please tell me when this battering will end and what is the remedial

measure for this.
