Melafic planets?

Dear Beatriz,

You are entering in a very delicate area of predictive astrology.

The planets give good or bad results in their Vimsottari dasa on following three basis:

1. PLACEMENT;

a. If planet is sign or house Vargottama

b. If planet is placed in its sign of exaltation,Mooltrikona , own and friendly signs.

c. If planet is placed in angular houses from Ascendant or Moon

d. If depositor of planet is placed in dignity

e. 2nd house from a planet in question is in benefic influence

In above situations , the planet gives benefice results of the house where it is placed.

Kindly remember Lords of benefic houses namely 1,2,4,5,7,9,10,11 ,if placed in these

houses yield to benefic results. Lords of 3,6,8,12, if placed in these malefic houses, yield to

Vipreet Raj -yoga..In other situations ,it gives adverse results.

For detailed information please study ,chapter 6 of Phaldeepka and11of Jatak-Parijat.

2. FUNCTIONAL BENEFICE'S AND MALEFICS-BASED ON LORD SHIPS OF HOUSES

KINDLY STUDY CHAPTER -yogakarka adhya and Laghu Parasari

As regards your question Lagna Lord Jupiter or Mercury ,if they are also lords of 10th house may act as yoga planet ,

if they are lords of 4th , will not give benefic results ( please note , I am not saying that they become malefics.

3. Various strength of planets

A judicious assessment of these factors will lead to correct prediction.

But in that case, if we take, for example, Sagittarius Rising, Jupiter will be 1st and 4th lord.

Being Lagna Lord will Jupiter not give good results? Same with Pisces Rising where Jupiter is 1st and 10th lord.

Similar case with Mercury for Gemini and Virgo Rising.

Or does being Lagna Lord constitute an exception here? Perhaps because 1st house is more than just an angular house?

Please clarify.

Pranam,I have question to all gurubhai. How can be a planets like Sun (we pray and Idol for HIndus) can be melafic? I also reading BHPS says that any benefic planets sitting in 10th house become melafic or neutral depend on other aspect. Can some one explain me that how?Thanksrp

Dear Manju ,

The first one is basic rule.

If lords of 1st house and 10th house form a sambandha , it creates Raj yoga..

Similarly angular and trinal lords will make a sambandha , it becomes rajyoga,

Jupiter for Pisces Lagna in 1st or in 10 th houses makes a yoga par-excellence.

Please do not jump on conclusions based on one rule only.

Please study Laghu parasari in file section.
