Guest guest
Dear Members, I got up today at 3.05 am to see the rising Shukra, when i came out in the open field, following are the observation. 1) Mangal was exactly over my head (as the Kanya has risen in east hence mars will be right at the top being in Mithuna). It is easily recognisable being pinkish in appearance. 2) Almost Poorna Chandra (Krishna paksha Pratipada chandra) was shing gloriously in Vrishbha and 9th house of the Lagna at the moment. 3) I could percieve Simha Rashi in the space (having Saptarshi starts- 7 stars) but it was difficult to locate saturn. 4) at around 3.15 am i saw rising of Shukra. i could not see shukra exactly at the horizon but appx. 1 Angul up from horizon. it was little 'pinkish' and faint but not white. 5) at around 5.00 am i saw again when Shukra was a treat to watch. Shining bright reflecting *white light* (like diamond - probably, that is why the Rishis have described it as Himukund) with all the beauty & splendour. I appeal people to get up appx 2 hours before Sunrise and behold the beauty of Shukra these days. I was watching with all amazement the beauty of space with Chandra, Mars, Shani (Not sure) and Shukra palced in 9th,10th,12th & lagna respectively, in one line as a one picture frame. 6) I tried to see Rising of Budha which was schedules around 5.47 am. but by the time the eastern horizon started becoming dark pinkish and i could just see very faint glimpse of Budha and that to for a couple of minutes. 7) I was waiting for sun rise for the repeatation of yesterday's experience but as it turned out, today it was not like yesterday. some birds, i saw flying some 6 minutes before Tip of Sun and some birds came out of their so called nests and started flying when tip of the SUN was already out. may be, as Narsimha garu has pointed out recently, Thakur says that to corrupt everything is the nature of Kali and Birds are not the exception. It seems that some birds were enjoying their week-end today and rested few more minutes, even ignoring their *Karaka* i.e Sun. 0) I prayed to The Surya Devata with folded hands and got in to daily work.
