Rudra Abhisekham - is it OK to do it on a day that is not your tithi return day?

Dear Jyotishas:

 

I learned from Sri Vistiji, that every year you should do a Rudra

Abhisekham on your tithi return day.

 

Does anyone know if it is OK to do the Rudra Abhisekham on a day close

to but not on your tithi return day?

you can choose your Janma nakshtra parvesh chakra to find date of Rudra abhishika Shukla tryodsashi (Sk13) is also good for Rudra abhisheka..

or wait till 6th march for Mahashivratri...you can do this one and time for one wonder full
