Guest guest
Dear all, I would appreciate if the learned ones in Jyotish would shed some light on the following question: How to find the career of university professor in dasamsa? My understanding is that, since Jupiter is indicator of teaching connection between Jupiter and 10L in Rasi might indicate professor. However, university professor's job is primarily focused on research. In reputed universities, a major part of the job is research and a minor part is teaching. In that case, how to know if someone will be a university professor? Rahu is known to indicate research and discovering new knowledge as opposed to traditional knowledge. However, in what conditions does Rahu indicate professor rather than, say, a politician? ( I have listened to Dasamsa lectures by Pt.Sanjay Rath.) I would be grateful if knowledgable persons here could point to the indicators on finding this profession. I am sure that in addition to Jupiter/Rahu, the role of the 10th lord in rasi, lagna lord of the dasamsa, sign itself would play a role. However, I need a better picture and a step-by-step process to understand this better. Any example charts will also be greatly appreciated. Best Regards, SK PS: To Moderator: I have posed this question in this forum on Dec 19, 2007. However, it hasn't appeared on the lists yet. Hence, I am trying to re-post the same. Please identify your pre-requisites for posting in this forum. I believed that above post clearly has vedic astrology content and fail to understand why it has been moderated. Thanks in advance.
