Brahma yoga, involving Rajas guna presume Venus should be involved as he the Rajasic planet and a Brahman too. Satva guna, Jupiter combination? Just a guess Iam not sure. May be others learned can give their inputs. If the 6L from Karaka Lagna has connection to Lg then its Brahma Yoga and makes one strong and intelligent. Hari is 12H, Hara is 8H. And Shiva Yoga (su+ke) and brahma yoga (ju+sa - giving also Jyotish skills) is not in the same group to make those connections to shaktis. The Brahma or Prajapati who caused your creation (Lagna), and whose blessing or mark is a strong Lagna. Then there is the Brahma who symbolizes the reason for your creation, namely ripu and this is carried by Saturn. Therefore Jupiter joined Saturn gives Brahma Jnana. This is more so if it happens in trikona to AK in navamsa. Therefore one criteria for a yoga for a Muni (saint?) is that Jupiter and Saturn must share the same navamsa and be connected to the ninth house. Further the Sun must be joined the Lagna.
