Ways to progress materially/spiritually

Namaskar All,

 

Kindly look at the following data of a male native.He wants to know

ways (remedies) in which he can progress spiritually as well as

materially. Based on navamsa, I suggested him Gouri Upasana, but it is

not clear whether Ishta devta pooja will progress him materially as

well. Also , does he need to fast for IShta devata appeasement? Which

day ?(For Mother Gouri?)
