you for using IRCTC's online rail reservation facility. Your ticket has

Your

ticket should reach you in a day or two through our courier.

Please keep the PNR number and

transaction details of your ticket with you. While taking delivery of your

ticket you will need to give these details along with proof of your

identity such as passport, voters identification card, ration card etc. If

any one other than you is to receive the ticket on your behalf he / she

will be required to produce the ticket PNR / Transaction id, along with his

/ her identification and a written authorization letter from you verifying

his / her signature. It may kindly be noted that in case wrong delivery or

non-delivery of ticket takes place on account of your / receiver's non

provision of PNR no. / Identity, IRCTC will not be responsible for the

same. These precautions are in your interest and we earnestly solicit your

cooperation.

 

 

 

 

If

you do not get your ticket within 36 hours,please track the status of your

ticket delivery at 'eTrack' on the 'Courier Details' page on the website

or contact the Customer Support of M/s. OVERNITE EXPRESS Ltd., the courier

agency at your city at the address given on the 'Courier information' page by

For cancellation of your ticket, please approach the

nearest Computerized Railway Reservation Center and deposit the ticket duly

filling up the requisition slip, as any other Railway ticket. No cash refund

will be made, instead the due amount will be credited back to your account.

Any modification to your ticket such as change in boarding point, issue of

duplicate ticket for a lost ticket, partial cancellation etc., can also be

done by submitting your request along with the ticket at PRS counter.

IRCTC would then process the case with the concerned Railway and refund to

your account whatever amount is finally sanctioned by the Railways Claims

office.This process could take a few months.So kindly bear with us,and as far

as possible,cancel your tickets well before, or at least immmediately after a

missed/cancelled journey.

In case your train is inordinately delayed, cancelled etc, you can get

your ticket cancelled at the PRS upto time limits as fixed by the

Railways.Beyond this, the procedure will be as described above.Please refer

any authorised railway time table for the Railways Commercial

Rules,cancellations and refunds.

In case your are unable to cancel the ticket before departure of the train

or up to the prescribed time limits as per Railway Commercial Rules, please

deposit your ticket at the nearest Railway PRS counter, get a Ticket Deposit

Receipt (TDR) and forward the same to:
