Guest guest
Respected Members, I am a novice in Jyotish but thought this will be something great to see discussed and to learn something in the process. Thanks for your patience in reading the rudimentary, mostly uninformed analysis below. I am interested in finding out how strongly we can predict rebirths in charts. I was going through the charts of two prominent politicians and found some interesting correlations. Some of the assumptions that this is based on are: Ketu represents the past tendencies, D60 represents the past life. I believe if the accurate time of birth is not available, then it is not possible to pin point the D60 lagna. But the planets in signs still remain the same? AK represents the major focus of all that has been done in the past. It represents both the benefits and the challenges that come with having overused the negative tendencies of that planet. 1. The charts are that of Barack Obama, currently running for democratic US presidential nominee and Abraham Lincoln. Obama's details: August 4, 1961, Honolulu, Hawaii, USA. TOB is not accurately available. Some times have been said to be 9 am and 1 pm. I have seen a case been made for Cap lagna making time around 5.23 pm too. Abe Lincoln: Feb 12, 1809, Hardin County, Kentucky, USA, time around 6 am. Lincoln had a very strong shadbala score of Mars followed by that of Saturn. Barack has his AK as Mars and a very strong Cap. Lincoln's Sun was in Aquarius while Barack's ketu is in Aquarius. Barack is running on the platform of a unifier including that of racial reconciliation the issue that got Lincoln killed. Also coincidentally Obama declared his bid for presidency from the very same place where Lincoln had declared his more than 100 years ago. Most of the primaries that have shaped this democratic race were held on Tuesdays (called Super Tuesdays by the Media) which is the day ruled by Obama's AK mars. I believe it hurts him as this represents the 'sins' of the past coming back to affect him? Hillary Clinton (in my humble view) has run a very negative campaign. But Obama is not willing to fight and get dirty (for a politician and their usual standards). That makes one wonder about the role of AK Mars. Does it mean one has had enough of fighting in the past and is willing to move past it? Hillary has depicted Obama as a very " non masculine' candidate. But Obama doesn't seem to take that bait and fight in her style. Her mars, is exalted in her D9. Lincoln had an exalted Jup in his D9. Obama seems to have a very strong Jup also. His Jup is conjunct Saturn in its own sign, Cap, which makes it neecha bhanga. His Saturn is also vargottama. Lincoln had Saturn in Scorpio in natal and Mars and Venus in Scorpio in D9 while Obama's Scorpio has the highest AV score among all his houses. Please comment if the above similarities make a case for some chance of a shared past or are just stretch of imagination. 2. Second such chart for reincarnational study is interesting also. Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya, founder of the All World Gayatri Parivar (www.awgp.org) states openly in many lectures and in his autobiography that he was formerly Ramakrishna Paramhamsa in his last incarnation. Before that he states he was Ramdass, guru of Shivaji and also Saint Kabir, in earlier incarnations. Thakur's chart is already there on JHora. Acharya jis birthday is 20th Sept, 1911, Anwalkheda, Agra, UP. Accurate time is not available. I am sure there are people close to him that do know it though. I haven't studied the similarities in this one so far. Although one can only wonder to what extent the normal rules apply if someone claims to be as great at Thakur and having come back to redeem humanity. Am I correct in assuming that even though the correct lagans for D9, D60 can't be pinpointed with accuracy w/o an accurate TOB, but planets in signs will remain the same and hence can still give useful information? Many thanks Shiv
