Koti Namaskar! Thanks for your imput. The ladies first name is Sera.

I did not inquire whether this name was given at birth or not. As far

as rectification goes, this chart may indeed need it, but I suspect

that the rising sign is correct. Rectification has not typically been

my forte, but I would really like to learn some good techniques for

this. I have often relied on using KP ruling planets for this, but

there is often still room for doubt even then.

 

The main issues that prompted this lady to come to me were

relationship issues and career confusion . I did indeed notice the

kalatra shapa in her chart. However, I was confused whether her

powerful Ruchak Mahapurusha yoga would be beneficial or detrimental

to relationship in general. If I remember correctly, Mars in Scorpio

in the 7th house does not cause dosham. But whether is does so in the

8th from the Moon while in Scorpio I am not sure. I would think that

she would put a lot of energy into relationship with such a strong

Mars in the 7th and navamsa lagnesha Shani in the 7th of navamsa. But

the Saturn/Moon combination there in navamsa is doubtful.

 

As far as career is concerned, I would think that such a powerful

Rahu in the 10th would give sudden rises in status but perhaps sudden

falls as well. Would this position of Rahu indicate working with

foreigners in some way? If we accept Rahu as 10th lord in the 10th

and being aspected by 2nd and 5th lord Mercury, this would constitute

a raja yoga. Sun is well placed in the 3rd. The 10th lord from Arudha

lagna is powerfully placed in the 5th, but again the Saturn/Moon

combination in the 10th from Arudha lagna gives cause for doubt. How

would this affect the career?
