Jagannath Drekkana question

Dear Gurus and members,

It is said that Jagannath Drekkana gives karmaphaala. Is this really

true i.e. the fruit of karma? That doesnt sound right, because how can

the varga for the 3rd house, an upachaya and free will house, actually

show the *fruits*? Then there would be no free will right, because the

fruits are known at birth, since this is the natal chart? I assume

that Jn Drekkana only shows the direction of individual efforts,

right? vs. D-9 which shows inherent ability. This also brings up

another question about D-10 i.e. if D-3 is direction of individual

effort, and D-9 which is inherent ability, then what exactly is D-10.

Rafalji said " karmaviveka " somewhere, I forget exactly where, but I

would like that explained in some detail.

thank you very much,

Sundeep

Dear Sundeep, Namaskar

D3 is more for direction of initiatives, what you must do (6) to

activate karma (from 10). D10 is more for all works available to the

native. D9 shows for what things you are blessed. The difference

between d1, d3 and d9 is seen by learning Yogadas (Parasara). From

these three we examine the overall influence of yogas on one's life,

other vargas are more for detailed area (technical aspects like d10

shows job etc).
