Does this chart promise progeny ? Please help

Dear Everyone,

I am trying hard to learn the basics of KP system. One of my

close relative has been married for about 7 years now and hasnt been blessed yet

with a child. She conceived last year, but unfortunated the baby got aborted

(around July 2008). I have been trying to understand if she is promised progeny

or not. On trying to apply KP principal ( i am very sure i might be wrong as

this is my first attempt), i am totally confused as to what to conclude. I am

sure among the learned men in this group , i will get the clarity.

I am confused as Mercury is a significator of 5th as well as 10th house , Saturn

is a significator of 5th as well as 4th house. Does this mean that she is not

promised progeny ? Using 4 step significator , it seems that mercury (5th sub)

is also significator of 4 and 10. I would be greatly oblidged if someone can

help me.

Please can anyone help me ..this is my first post and i am sorry if i have not

put things correctly.

 

I also did see that jupiter is a very strong significator of 11 (although it

also signifies 4th).

 

Mercury (the sub lord of 5th) is in semi fruitful sign (pisces) and so is also

jupiter.

 

Does this mean that progeny is promised?If yes. any ideas when ? the couple is

going through a very bad time (frustration , depression , almost gave up hope)

and it would be great if some ray of hope is provided to them. Some doctors have

told that medically the chances are very less , but while going through KP, i

felt that maybe KP is denoting progeny but after much delay and frustration.

 

I am sure lot of people in this forum (who are trying to learn KP) will find

this chart a good one to analyse for progeny purpose.

 

I am really hoping that i get a reply.

Dear Soumendu,

The K.P. rule for begetting progeny is that the sub-lord of the Vth cusp signify the house II or V or XI and not be posited in a barren Sign...

Respected Lajmi ji ,

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for replying to my post and also on behalf of the family of the girl concerned. I did consult many of the books related to KP before posting this in this forum. All the books gave the same rule , but i got confused as i was seeing Mercury also being a significator of 1st and 10th house. I couldnt conclude what should be concluded if the significator(s) also signify the opposite houses (1st , 4th and 10th) from those cases. I dont blame the books or authors at all , its my limitation to understand the things.

 

Here Mercury is the sub lord of Vth Cusp and it is also a significator of house no. Vth. Also Mercury is in Pisces (which is not a barren sign). Jupiter is a strong significator of 11th house and its also in Capricon (which is again not a barren sign). Taking your rule , should be safe to conclude that progeny is promised ? Will you please help me out to also give some indications as to when she can expect it to materialize (progeny). It also does look that since most of the significators are connected to female signs , the baby should be a female.

 

Also , i was not able to find conclusively any rule which tells if a baby gets aborted , should the next conception still be considered as first child or 2nd child ? Is there any book which gives such guidelines as to when we should look for 1st child (5th house) or 2nd house (3rd to 5th house i.e 7th house ) and so on ? In this case , her first conception got aborted around 21st of July 2008 and i think it was within 2 months of pregnancy ( i did read in some thread in this forum that if the baby gets aborted within 3 mnths , we should still consider the next conception for 1st child and not 2nd).
