Guest guest
All the Respected KP Astrologers and Group Moderators, Last many days we are observing a great discussion about Birth-Time-Rectification (BTR) with divine help of Ruling Planets. As we know in KP Astrology Sub-Lord (SBL) of Planets & Cusp are important factor. To judge the correct SBL, calculation of BTR is most important one. We generally calculate BTR with the help of KP Astrology Software. But, different software used the difference calculation methods (for example – some are Swiss Ephemeris based while others are different). Also different astrologers are using different calculation methods depending upon their logical beliefs, practical experience and knowledge (For example – some are using KP Old Ayanamsa, some are using KP New Ayanamsa and some go for actual as per ephemeris based calculations). I am not much aware of KP Astrology as because I am the basic learner of KP Astrology and having no experience. So, I personally feel some doubts in mind (like which Ayanamsa should be taken? etc.) while casting of a chart with the help of KP Astrology Software. Sometimes the SBL of planets/cusp may be changed due to different Ayanamsa taken. In this regards, I want to know what is standard practice about calculation methods which is generally used by KP Astrologers ? I have briefing my points as below : (1) Which software is most authenticated and reliable for KP Astrology and popularly used by astrologers - KP Astro / KP StarOne / Astro-Kundali … etc. (2) What is the standard practice of calculation methods with regards to followings generally used by astrologers – 2.1 Ayanamsa – Whether Old, New or Swiss based etc.? 2.2 Rahu-Ketu – Whether TRUE or MEAN ? 2.3 Geocentric Latitude Correction – Whether required or not ? 2.4 Ephemiris – Whether Swiss or others like- JPL Ephemery, Moshier Calculation etc ? 2.5 House System – Whether Placidus or others ? 2.6 Positions – Whether Tropical or Sidereal ? 2.7 ORB Angle for Inter-Planetary Aspects for KP 4-Step Significatiors ? Can anybody suggests me what calculation methods should be used ? I have one request/suggestion to the Group Moderators to kindly set a bench-mark about the calculation methods by taking valuable feedback of our respected KP Astrologers according to their practical knowledge and experience.
