Further Thoughts

Except

Sun Moon, as per Bhrighu Parampara things are logical atleast to me may not be

to others, but there are some more questions & observations which come

forward

a)

How come different

sages/ancient authors gave different years of age for various planets

(interesting point is they never insulted what the other rishi wrote)

b)

When it comes to

malefics like Saturn and Mars, it's evident that only after it gets debilitated

in the Bhrighu Progression its maturity age is being given, akin to once a bad

man gets weakened he loses his ability to curtail his power/bad nature etc etc.

c)

Why is it taking so

long to deliver, why not in the first cycle, the only logic that comes to one's

mind is Saturn is slow by nature hence the results are later, whereas Mars is

not so slow, Rahu Ketu are slow again but still what is the basis eludes us. In

short benefics give early and malefics give late (years of maturity)

I had spoken to lot of people but unable to unearth this,

one need not accept this logic that has been stated above but so far I have

found it the most sound, but then all of us don't wear the same color of shirt

each day.

Jupiter 16 yrs

which repeats at 32

a)

I am told that the

greatest of Maharashtrian Saints Sant Gyaneshwar attained enlightenment or

something major happened to him at the age of 16, just verified it now with a

Maharashtrian fellow. If anyone knows more on exact age pls quote.

b)

Adi Sankara, one of

the greatest saints of all times had some major experiences at age 16

When

Shri Sankara was 16, a very old Brahmin of ill health started arguments with

him about Brahmasutra bashyam which Shri Sankara had written. Shri Sankara was

astounded by his intelligence and arguments but they continued their discussion.

The arguments continued for days together and the more Shri Sankara argued, his

ideas crystallised more and more and he understood that the old man was none

other than Vyasa Rishi, who was the creator of Brahmasutra. Sri Sankara said

that he has done a great disrespect to the sage by entering into an argument.

Vyasa Rishi said "I fully agree with your bashyam and I wanted to

establish that yours is correct. I bless that you should live another 16 years

and you should spread this Advaita throughout the country."

Now

see, this event of meeting Vyasa Rishi happened at 16 age of Jupiter, we all

know the importance of Vyasa Rishi specifically as a Guru, then he being

blessed only 16 yrs (Jupiters age) not more years of life by Vyasa Rishi –

Jupiter is Jeeva Karaka (16 yrs more)

Some

say he died at age 32nd year, some say 32nd year 6 months

, if we take 32nd year, it comes 8H of longevity, death. Some say he

had Jupiter in 8H, which again brings the Jupiterean element into the picture.

Ofcourse this is all not definite and wishful thinking since there are two

years of birth for Adi Sankara and the fight on it still goes on so how come we

can ascertain his lagna and subsequently Jupiter in 8H.
