Namaste friends,

On Friday nights in the sukla paksha (brighter fortnight) of the lunar month of

Aswayuja, reading of Narayana Hridayam and Lakshmi Hridayam is very powerful.

Today is the last Friday in hte sukla paksha of the current Aswayuja month.

Moreover, today is Ekadasi tithi.

Those of you who have access to the text may want to read the prayers mentioned.

If not, any general prayer to Narayana and Mahalakshmi is a good idea for

tonight. It is also a great day to perform Mahalakshmi homam (see below for the

link).

Best regards,

Narasimha

Dear Sir,

Thanks you very much for this advice. Can anyone recite these stotras. Would you be kind enough to give these stotrams to me or whatever part you think is appropriate to be recite?

Thanks & Regards,

Namaste,

I believe Utpal Pathak uploaded the text in the file section of

and also gave a link to an internet site. Here

is his mail to .

BTW, do not read these partially. If you read them, you are supposed

to read them fully and together. Read Narayana hridayam first and then

read Lakshmi Hridayam. If you want to read Lakshmi twice, you have to

re-read Narayana and then read Lakshmi. You do them in pairs together.

This is what is dictated by tradition.

Best regards,

Narasimha
