Guest guest Posted October 13, 2008 Report Share Posted October 13, 2008 Reckoning Badhaka Om Gurave Namah Dear Gurus and Friends It is known that the Badhakesh is reckoned for chara rashi from 11th, for thira rashi ,from 9th and for ubhaya rashi is from 7th house. But I have not come across any reason in any of the text so far I read (very few) as to why it is reckoned so. One complicated aspect of it is the yogakaraka becomes the bhadakesh for thira rashies. After thinking over it , I just got some probable answer which I like to submit. In the natural chart, 6th house is the most malicious house( Shadripu). Using Bhavath bhavam principal from Aries , counting to Virgo natural 6th H , 6 counted from 6th house is 11th house . Counting from Taurus to same natural 6th is 5 counts while counting 5 from 6th , 9th house is found. Counting from Gemini to natural 6th H (Virgo) is 4 and same number counted from natural 6th H becomes 7th which is Badhaka sign for Ubhaya rashi . Comments and corrections are highly appreciated.
