Guest guest
Dear Venkatesh,Brighu Bindu is the mid-point of Moon/Rahu and is used in connection with transits. It is said that the transit of any planet over the BB (i.e. conjunction) will produce an event. However major aspects may also work but there is a need for further research (which I have been doing for the last few years). The main source for this is Brighu Nandi Nadi as revealed by the late C.S. Patel to one of his students.[Note: I'll have to check the computation method that is used in JH to see if it fits with the source in my possetion]. Kind regards/Jay WeissSweden2008/12/7 Venkatesh <ksvssvk JAI SRIRAM Dear Jyotisa, Jhora 7.3 displays Bhirugu Bindu (BB).Can anyone explain what is the significance of this. Guest guest
Hare Rama Krishna, Dear Venkatesh, the BB point is the exact midpoint between Rahu and Moon, taking the shorter arc.I first became aware of it's significance some 15 years ago, when Mr.R.G.Krishnan pointed this out to me. It is an ancient Brighu Nadi principle. Normally, when a benefic planet- especially Jupiter- transits this BB,it usually brings immediate material/financial benefits- sometimes in quite a startling manner. I have observed this several times in my chart as well as in other charts. Naturally, other factors,Dasha/bukti,gochar etc has to be taken into account as well. Nothing works in isolation!I reckon this principle works quite well in Varshpal and TP also. N.B.-occasionally, I have observed Rahu crossing the BB will also bring sudden financial rewards. There may be other uses of which I am not aware of...Ready to learn more... with deep respect to all: AJ sohamsa , Venkatesh <ksvssvk wrote: > > JAI SRIRAM > Â > Dear Jyotisa, > Â > Jhora 7.3 displays Bhirugu Bindu (BB).Can anyone explain what is the significance of this. > Â > Thanks, > Venkatesh > > > Add more friends to your messenger and enjoy! Guest guest
Namaste, I added it at the request of someone who is doing non-commercial and selfless service to Jyotish. Take the arc from Moon to Rahu and find the mid-point. That is bhrigu bindu. He told me that Vimsottari dasa initiated from bhrigu bindu has some uses in their tradition. I do not have much experience with bhrigu bindu. Patel and therein is some reference to Bhrigu Bindu.........Also in the Saptarishis volume 1 in an article about the use of progresions by Robert Koch is a mention of its use.
