Dear Friends,

Lahiri's Ephemeris indicates the following rate Precession of VE.Point per year:

per tropical year=50" . 29

per sidereal year - 50".26

Nutation in its longitude as on Jan 1, 2009 is +13".3

JH HORA 7.32 does not consider Nutation , which is not the correct way

according to my thinking.

Regards,

G.K..GOEL

Dear Prashant ji,

No doubt Nutation is not constant and now calculated based according

to new equations bases on planets weight, orbit and other influences

on the axis of Earth.

Lahiri adopts Nutation values as calculates by positional astronomical centres.

Dear Shri Goel Ji,Apart of precession,Nutation can also not be constant as Mo is also going away from earth (increasing its axial distance) due to enegry loss between earth surface and water.Mo's force on earth is not constatnt(Even if we take Mo's orbit as perfectly circular). So any software can't easily tell the planets position easily if we try to track the planets position in ancient times.Only ancient writtings can tell the exact location of planets if the author was aware of all astronomical parameters.Regs,Prashant PandeyIndian_Astrology_ Group_Daily_ Digest@grou ps.com, Gopal Goel <gkgoel1937@ ...> wrote:>> Dear Friends,> Lahiri's Ephemeris indicates the following rate

Namaste,

The statement you made bwlow about JHora 7.32 is incorrect. Jagannatha Hora software does consider nutation when finding planetary positions.
