Question about the curse remedey - Jyotirlinga mantra

Om Gurave Namah!

 

Dear Gurus,

 

While prescribing Jyotirlinga mantra to remedy curse, I find some use

the house of curse and some use the house lordship of the cursed

benefic planet. Which one should be correct? Or should one prescribe both?

 

I have particular doubt since I find in a chart the curse is 12th

house. Shall we not strengthen the 12th house, if we prescribe the

12th house Jyotirlinga mantra?

Dear Sudhir,

 

i'm no expert, but if i've understood correctly, then for reviving the

planet which is cursed, the Jyotirlinga mantra of the house in which

that planet recieves exaltation is given.

e.g. if Venus is under curse, then the mantra will be for

Tryambakeshawara (that corresponds to Pisces - the house of exaltation

of Venus).

Now, if Pisces is 12th house, still, i think, the mantra is meant to

exalt Venus. I may be subject to correction.
