Guest guest
Hi All Just a point about recent spate of mails to and fro from certain people. If it was not for Pt.Sanjay rath, most of the guys wouldnot have even known what is hora lagna, or ghatika lagna etc. If he had not shared his knowledge to the world, most of the guys would be still languishing with the old texts, and trying to figure out what went wrong etc. After learning from him for so many years, it is a pity that most of the guys are actually writing against the tradition and the knowledge. personal differences are fine, but that should never be mixed with knowledge sharing. I guess Pt.Rath has done a wrong thing by sharing the wonderful knowledge that he has to the world. Before pointing flaws in tradition, please introspect and atleast be grateful to to the master who so unselfishly shared so much knowledge. Peace be to all. regards Partha BTW: this is a one-off mail, and is a horror reaction to the recent mails which i saw after a long time. Guest guest
Dear All, I completely agree with what is said here. Back in 1999/2000, it was only Guru Pt. Rath who showed the world the light of astrology. Now we have many forums, many people have had the courage to log in to the cyber world and share their theories, school of thought with the world, but it was not so 7/8 years back. I can very openly say that when I was in search of something concerete back in those old days in college, I only found Pt. Rath's selfless sharing of knowledge. We may agree or disagree with some SJC teachings, but I don't think anyone can deny the selfless contribution of Pt. Rath to bringing astrology to our home PCs and the that of Narasimha-ji to selflessly giving away a software that not only his believers use but also his critics. Why would someone create a group which allows general public to report faults in a software that one has written and given away in charity? Software support for charity software - this talks about the selflessness of this Narashima-ji. I can speak about myself and I will always remember that these two great men have given me material to start thinking about astrology seriously, they definitely ignited the flame in me. Even if today we are in a position to criticize some of their theories or teachings, that too is because of their selfless sharing to the world and specially to the cyber-astro community. Guest guest
Dear List, Namaste, I have also read long long mails about surrendering to God and whole lot of arguments and debates. Beside any jyotish involved in those debates being it right or wrong, remember, first surrender is always in the holy feet of the Guru, only then we are ready to surrender to the god itself. Guru (Jupiter) is the first and foremost because he brings the knowledge which creates " Akash tattva " within us so that we are ready to receive and see the light of the god. Whoever is the guru, be it a beggar or a king, no matter how good or bad he is, if you have learnt something from him/her then they are worshipable and worthy of your respect. Best wishes Gajamukha sohamsa , " suchitra_kamath " <suchitra_kamath wrote: > > Dear Souvik,Partha and Others, > > Add me to the list of devout supporters of Pt Rath. Like you(Souvik), once I had googled about what the purpose of my birth was and the only article which moved me tremendously was Pt Rath's article on AK. After that day , I read more and more and started developing a deep interest in astrology. Most of my learnings come from his teachings. It is surprising that people pick our email ids from these forums and send mass mailed invitations of their own astrology forums.I even joined a few, but honestly I do not find the depth in answers( neither astrological content viz, nor spirituality viz) in these other froums. The responses of Pt Rath and his students carry great meaning and value for me and many other people > > One trend which particularly annoys me is students of other Gurus(non SJC) come here and try to start an argument for no reason and then preach about their own Gurus. While it may be a great service to please your Guru, but blasphemying others earns no merit. > > I just hope and pray that all these dirt particles get filtered for the pure flow of knowledge which SJC has to offer. > > Thanks > Suchitra > > > sohamsa , " Souvik Dutta " <explore_vulcan@> wrote: > > > > Dear All, > > > > I completely agree with what is said here.
