Versatile Panchanga

Hi all,

 

I am currently developing a versatile panchanga. I have uploaded

whatever I have done so far in scribd in the below url. As and when I

will update it, I will load a newer version.

For the timebeing I am only loading the panchanga for Ujjain, India,

the seat of Mahakaleswar (the time personified) for year 2009. Once I

am done with the final version, the panchanga can be created for any

year +/- 3000 years and for any location.

 

Appreciate if you could take some time to provide your feedback. My

immediate plans are-

 

1. Providing panchaka for each sets of 5 elements occuring in a day.

 

2. Providing auspicious and inauspicious yogas pertaining to panchanga

for each day.

 

3. Providing auspicious muhurthas for various activities for the whole year.

 

You may also be interested in a spreadsheet which allows to search of

any combination of panchanga elements. For example, if someone wants

to search for Buddhastami (Shukla ashtami falling on a Wednesday) or

Purnima falling on a Saturday etc., this can be done eith

spreadsheet's filter mechanism. The file can be found in the given
