Om Namah Sivaya.

Namaste Sri Goel Ji and others,

Let me add some more points reg. Vilagna from Jaimini angle.

In Jaimini Vilagna not necessarily mean Janma Lagna. Vilagna means a special

lagna or an important lagna. Yes, Janma Lagna become Vilagna. Yet,Krishna Mishra

list out a number of lagnas and he instructs us to take the stronger of them as

Vilagna. Of course, some lagnas, he mentioned, are controversial, yet they are

worth considering.

As it is known that Jaimini Sampradaya (Tradition) has been lost to us, we never

know how many lagnas exists. My Guru says they are more than a dozen. Yet it

must be understood that any lagna whether it is Tripravana, Divaya or Sputa

Navamsa, all are some way connected with either Janma Lagna or Lagna lord.

In summary, we can safely assume that Vilagna may not be simply Lagna but the

stronger of

1. Janma Lagna

2. Hora Lagna

3. Ghatika Lagna

4. Sri Lagna

There are much more in the list, but I dont write them here for the controversy.

If sombody argues that these Jaimini concepts not be applied in interpreting

BPHS, then Hmmm.

Seeking Blesings,

Shanmukha

longevity purpose)

and not lagna lord. Verses 34 and 35 mention vilagna, which could best translate

to vighati lagna than lagna, because in pair one, we already had lagna with 8L.

This could be one of the reason why the three pair rule does not work all the

time, as we have not been considering vighati lagna over lagna in pair three.

This is my humble opinion, from the observation of several cases. Other learned

members can share their views)
