Guest guest
Respected members This site http://varahamihira.blogspot.com/2005/08/progeny-in-jyotish-ii-number-sex-of.htm\ l provides a method for determining the number of children. However with the advent of several birth control methods the number of children per couple has reduced. How do we account for this. This method often shows5, 6 children which is not very common now days (in many sections of society). Some indications are given by the planets in the 5th house, 5th lord and 9th from UL in Rasi. For example Mo in 9th from UL gives one child. But how to intemperate the results if it joins say Rahu. Does a miscarriage also counts in a pregnancy in Saptamsa. Do we have to consider a house for it. In Saptamsa does the Ra-Ke axis indicates the end of count or does indicate the end of count only if it happens to be in the house indicating a child? regards namita
Guest guest
Respected Lakshmiji I tried analyzing some charts using the information given by you and that given in the varahmihir blog. Here are some of my doubts. If an exalted planet is retrograde does it indicate a girl or a boy. I am studying a chart here the Pisces having retrograde Jupiter is the house indicating the daughter of the native. I am also perplexed about my chart. I had a miscarriage in Oct 2006. This happened very early in the course of pregnancy. Not even two months had passed. Now I have a daughter born in June 2008. According to my d7 second pregnancy is lorded by Me placed in Ju. So it should be a boy. Also I am not able to make out the reason for miscarriage in case of first pregnancy. I was told by an astrologer that if a miscarriage occurs very early in course of pregnancy, the same house is considered again next time. Please tell me if my understanding is correct - In d7: Asc lord Ju is in exchange with Me placed in pisces. so, the counting will be done in reverse order. The house indicating the first child is 9th house (Leo). Su is dibiliated in Libra. So we expect a girl child. this house has graha dristi of saturn and mars. however the miscarriage took place in Ke-Ju_ve. Maybe this is because of enimity of Ke and Ju. Daughter was born in Ke-Me-Ke dasa. Here if we consider the same house we find that a girl child is indicated. (if we move rto 7th house a boy is indicated.) Moving on to the 7th house a nother child(boy) would be expected. Then due to occurrence of Ra the count stops. So does this chart indicate two children a girl and aboy. How do we account fr the miscarriage. The birth details are as follows Natal Chart January 30, 1981 Time: 20:08:51 Time Zone: 5:30:00 (East of GMT) Place: 80 E 46' 50 " , 27 N 56' 50 " lakhimpur, India Thanks and regards namita sohamsa , Lakshmi Kary <lakshmikary wrote: > > Hare Rama Krishna > Dear Namita, > It is a big question, I will answer part. > When you come across the nodes in the navamsa, if VENUS karaka for spouse is strong then it can override(jump over) the nodes. So here you see, we first have to look at potential, or physical ability. Iff a person lacks ability then we can move along and look for other " options " / > > There are other possibilites,, so how to see them all? , best thing is to find charts of the above things and try and see it. > Then there is adoption, or in another mtaking on the care of a relatives child( a brothers, sister, aunt etc) from birth. This is especially true if Mars is a malefic lord, conjoined Rahu etc. > So, in short when you look at the charts, keep in mind reality and try and put 2 and 2 together. > > Best wishes > Lakshmi > > --- On Tue, 5/26/09, Namita Jain namita.saket wrote: > > > Namita Jain namita.saket > number of children > sohamsa > Tuesday, May 26, 2009, 7:47 AM > > Respected members > > This site http://varahamihira .blogspot. com/2005/ 08/progeny- in-jyotish- ii-number- sex-of.html provides a method for determining the number of children.
