On 26th July 2005, extreme heavy rainfall coincided with high tides causing one

of the worst disasters to hit Mumbai. The floods that ensued kiled more than

1000 people.

 

This year there is a prediction from the weather deaprtments that on 24th July

there is going to be tides as high as 5 meters. This high tides have not been

seen in many years. Consequetively, a moderate amount of rainfall on that day

can cause a overflow of the drainage system and floods.

 

 

From the Jyotish point of view, is there a threat around 24th July for any major

disaster in Mumbai?
