Namaste All, I have been looking for some good books or notes which can give very rich information on Sanskrit language. I am a beginner in this language, though I had this subject in school days I never paid much attention to this subject. I wrote many mails to few Sanskrit universities in India for distance course, but none responded to my messages, then I searched online book shops for some books which can teach me Sanskrit, but I was surprised to see it is only some westerners books are available on this subject! If anyone can suggest me some books written from Indian authors or some very best books of western authors who's explaining capability is good in language. Thanks for spending u r valuable time in reading my mail.Best Regards,Pavan

om krishna guru

Dear Pavan,

You might want to try http://acharya.iitm.ac.in/sanskrit/lessons.php - Learning

sanskrit through self study. It gives clear and simple rules regarding grammar

and also mp3 recordings of lectures.

Warm regards,

Tijana
