OM SHREE GURAVE NAMAH

Namaste Respected Scholars,

What must I do when one astrologer forcasts one thing and I see another. This

person whose birth details are as follows:

July 16 1973 18:23 London, UK

is presently running Jupiter/Saturn, Jupiter is debilitated and MKS, Saturn is

in the 8th house with Ketu very close conjunction. there are developing what

appear to be some very serious health problems. And one person says that the

coming Jupiter/Mercury period will be 'good'.

First of all Mercury is the Rudra planet, it is lord of both Saturn/Ketu, is

placed in badha sthan, the recent eclipse occurred exactly on the degree of

natal Mercury, the solar eclipse in January occured within 2 degrees of the natal

Moon/bhadakesa in 3rd house, the navamsa placement of Mercury is in the 8th

house with Rahu and aspect of Saturn from 11th house.

Saturn is about to transit in trines to AL in a sign that has only one benific

point in AKV. And as per Sthira Dasa from what I gleaned from PVR's paper he

will enter into antardasa of a sign that is housing Maheshwara planet, Saturn

and has aspect of Mars. Many of the shashtiamsas are malefic espcially lagna

lord. Does a malefic D-60 division ensure that dushta karma will be

experienced/suffered? Or does it mean there is just an association with the

karma.

Lagna/8th lord=Fixed Moon/Saturn=Fixed Lagna/HL=fixed Lagna lord in benefic sign

Ak aspects lagna and Jupiter does also for that matter, so there is some

enhancement but how much? I dont want to negative so I keep my mouth shut.

To be honest, I dont want to say anything as I feel I am unqualified. But I

dont want to say goodbye to my friend either. That also is another matter. Will

this man's AK protect him? It is placed in the same house along with Mercury,

9th house supposed to protect you right?

My perception is cloudy, I am a tamasic graha. I have followed what I have

learned through my association with SJC. Well not everything....but I would like

for someone to comment on this.

Is it ethical for me to be inquiring here about this? Why do people take money

and say good things when there are some things that are very questionable about

what the chart is indicating? Especially when this is what the person was

inquiring about. I am almost ready to give up jyotisha. But I can't.....

Dear scholars, inspite of everthing I have learned even today my doubts are not

dispelled...

Dear Ajaya

You wrote * inspite of everthing I have learned even

today my doubts are not dispelled* ... even I can say the same thing after all

these decades of jyotiá¹£a. Learning jyotiá¹£a is like swimming the

Pacific from America to India! Quite a distance and with many dangers, but we

cannot stop.

You read one paper on sthira daÅ›Ä and then decided that it was

the be all and end all of jyotiá¹£a. Ajaya life is not as

simple.

You apply one rule, a method of three pairs and are sure it will

work without any kaká¹£ya harana or bharana nor rÄÅ›i harana or bharana.

You learn one thing about the eclipse and not blindly use it for

one planet position in the chart without thinking that well, that Mercury will

be in the charts of all people born on that day. Are all of them going to die?

How often have you seen eclipses being used to time death? There is more to it

and please read my paper which gives the teachings of VarÄhamihÄ«ra.

Like all subjects, Jyotiá¹£a at the lower levels

is like Math 1+1 =2 ...but when we go higher, this simplicity vanishes and

there are too many things to study.

Jyotiá¹£a readings are done to help people find solutions to life. To

make them strong and give them faith to traverse the dark phases of life.

Readings are not done to torture them or frighten them. Look if someone has to

die, let him die bravely; if someone has to suffer give them the mantra that

will make their minds strong like Rudra to face and survive it. That is Manuśya

dharma and being a jyotishi, you have to do all the calculations, see all the

dangers and then reveal what is necessary based on the ability of the person to

take the information. Do not give useless information.

Yes, it is ethical for you to be enquiring about this. We all

have questions and need answers.

Hope I have made my views clear on this. It is hard work and

that is what a real jyotishi has to be.

Best wishes

Sanjay Rath

P.S. Ask your friend to worship the devatÄ of his Janma nakshatra

= ÅšrÄvaṇa
