RE:Badhak and Marka Houses and their Lords,

Dear Friends,

Their  are  some vital aspects about Marka houses and their Lords as well as

Badhaka houses and their lords. Most of savants try to see them only in bad

light,

and much more strong and benific aspects are ignored.

A. Marka Houses- 2H and 7H

 Marka characteristics are acquired and not natural significations of these

houses.

 2H- It represents education , speech , finance , mathematics , eyes etc. Much

more than

        it provides sustenance to firsts house.

       The planets assume Marka potential when associated 2H under certain

conditions only.

 7H- It is like to pivot to whole nativity and complementary to 1st H.7H becomes

Marka in some    specific conditions.

Lghuparasari says if Rajyoga commences in dasa of Lords of Marka planets(lords

of 2H and

7H), it even flourishes in subsequent sub-periods of dasa of papi planets.

B. Badhaka houses: Every savants knows that Houses 7 ,9 and 11 are very

important

     and its lords or planets placed their in will play vital and significant

role in natives life.

Dear Gopal ji,

 

Thank you for the write up. Can you please also give some inputs on Mars

for a Leo ascendant ? Mars is considered to be a Yogkaraka for a Leo

ascenadnt but also the Lord of the badhaksthana. In such contradictory

results occuring from above principles, what would be your take on this

?

That is significant statement w/o proper authority and reasoning. Can the

specefic reference be quoted ?? saying Laghu Parashary is not enough.. Morever,

Laghu Parashari is a commentary and not ascribed to Rishi Parashara.

 

Secondly, Maraka and Karaka are the central themes of Laghu Parashary, all

right. But not the Badakas. Can these really be mixed up like that?

 

I wonder... ??

Sun in 12th, the Moon in 8th, Mars & Mercury in 7th, Jupiter in 3rd, Venus in

Dear Abhishek,

What did you want to know about them?

The basic idea is that these placements are the opposite or most difficult places for these planets to be.

Thus marana karaka,,,, the planets feel death like suffering being in these houses.

For example, Venus , the planet of love(lust) and affections,and is associated with the 7th house of relationships.People with Venus in the 6th house often have a hard time getting satisfing/ or a return of love in relationships, or suffer repeated losses in love, etc.

 

The maranakaraka stan for Venus is the 6th house, place of enimity, enemies.etc also, for this position, Venus is also in the 12th house from there as well, So Venus is severly afflicted by being in the 6th house.

The Sun is karaka for Ego, self confidence, and position,authority, status etc. For the Sun to be hidden away, or secluded in the 12th house, where he must be out of the way,where the ego is forced to be subdued. is death like suffering, as he would rather like the 10th house.

Hope you get the idea. anyway, please look in previous examples in this group , as well as Vistis website,look in his book, for better examples,

There are some good effects though of Venus in the 6th house as the 6th house is getting some good results from having a benefic in his house, but its not good for the planet , itself.

Also to be considered when trying to understand the level of pain of the planet,

- it makes a difference depending on the lordship of Venus.ie if Venus is in Virgo in the 6th or whether Venus is in Taurus in the 6th to modify results accordingly.
