By manual calculations, i meant the correct ghatis of rise of mandi is calculated using the table and also taking into the consideration the actual sunrise time as day start and sunset as night start.So i am aware that day and night are not 12 hrs(30 ghatis) constant every day and so appropriate deductions are done to find the exactt ghatis.

 

However from your reply i understand that jhora follows the parasara method of dividing the day and night into 8 parts and taking saturn portion which is the reason for the difference occuring between manual calculations and jhora.
