Namaste friends,

 

Manish made a film called " Krishna: History or Myth " . He worked on it for the last 18 months. I was assisting him with the shooting when we were traveling in India last summer. After all the post-production work, the 35-minute documentary movie is finally ready. Manish was recently in India showing the movie to some media people and giving a few interviews.

This ambitious movie covers a lot of ground from many angles and sets the stage

for future movies on religious/spiritual issues. Manish intends to make a

separate documentary just on the astronomy of Mahabharata at a later date. But

such a documentary will be appealing to only some, while the above documentary

is more generic and should be interesting to a wider audience.

It is not formally released yet. Manish just showed a preview to media people in

Bombay and gave interviews.

 

You can go to www.saraswatifilms.org website (still under construction) and

donate some money to fund future documentaries. According to Manish, anyone

donating 10 pounds or more will get a pre-release copy of " Krishna: History or

Myth " DVD within the next 3-4 weeks. Click on " About us " and " Funding and

donate " .
