Years in dasas (Ramakrishna, Shiva and Abhisheka Nakshatra)

Namaste,

I recommend 360 deg solar years with all dasas.

But, in annual TA dasa used in TP charts, I suggest using tithi or Sun-Moon

longitude differential as a measure of the time to compress 108 years of TA dasa

to the soli-lunar year. If this differential changes by 360 deg in the entire

soli-lunar year (i.e. 354 civil days), then each year of TA dasa is compressed

to 360/108 deg of Sun-Moon longitude differential adavancement (as opposed to

compressing each year to 354/108 days). It makes only a small difference in the

end dates of dasas, but it is important sometimes when events happen very close

to dasa borders.

Get TA dasa on the screen and select " Definition of year in dasas " >> " Solar

longitude based year (360 deg year) " . In the dialog box that comes, select

" current dasa " and *check* the first check box that says:

" Override all the dasa year settings in compressed dasas of Tithi Pravesha

charts and all mundane lunar charts. Use tithi based year there, i.e. use tithi

as the measure of time within the compression period of the Tithi

Pravesha/mundane lunar chart. "

Best regards,

Narasimha

use Jagannatha ayanamsa always. Lahiri is almost correct, but has a small error

that can have a big impact in TP.

Narayana (or other Rasi dasas) and Tithi Ashtottari Dasas you use and recommend

with Jagannatha Ayanamsa?
