Guest guest
Hi allVery often we use this tern "kendra" loosely when we are to justify an event which has occured. There are shlokas in ancient texts which talks about particular house lords attaining kendra position and good results.we see some astrology practioners in various groups using kendra from the moon as a good placement for a particular lordship from lagnafor exampleIf 4th lord from lagna is in 12th house from ascendant but at the same time occupies 7th house(or any kendra) from moon they tell the effects of the good effects for kendra placement as described in the shloka. Here the graha under question may be the lord of malefic house, but nobody cares it or takes into account when it comes to give prediction and they ignore it declaring the graha under question is strong. No doubt the graha occupying a kendra from the moon is powerful, but should we give it supersendence when the graha counted from the primary reference (lagna) is in a bad placement like 6,8,12 thwhen some counting has taken lagna as the reference point,is it not the placement from the lagna the most important from the lagna?scenariosIf a particular lord from lagna is in kendra(or any placement) ,why should we give them the topmost priority calling it the most importance placements (and telling other reference points like from moon, sun etc are less important. The idea of reference from moon and sun are from authors of phaladeeepika)Similiary why arent astrologers sincere enough to see a position of planet from the reference point moon alone when lordships are concerned. Why should the astrologers say that for example) though the 7th lord from the moon is in 8th house from moon but is in kendra from lagna and declare good results? There are very few shlokas in ancient classics which asks to consider the position of a planet from lagna and moon -like for example .if 4th lord from lagna is in kendra from lagna or moon....................................The authors of classics are very particular about it and they mention the condition(from lagna or moon) wherever required and applicableother shlokas only talk abt the position of a particular lord from lagna ,but why should we apply them univerally for the moon.?exampleIF MOON IS THE REFERENCE POINT,if we are going to consider 7th lord from moon,it is 4 th from moon, but 12th from lagna? How is the above to be read? -7th lord in 4th or 7th lord in 12 th, as we will get contradictory results if both are to be appliedthanks vishnu
