New Pages or rather the first two chapters of the book NÄrÄyaṇa DaÅ›Ä have

been added to the SoHamsa website. These are the preface and the first chapter,

listed under Resources >> Books >> NÄrÄyaṇa DaÅ›Ä Book.

 

SoHamsa Wiki

We have installed a Wiki at http://SoHamsa.com/wiki and some of the extensions

are not working well. However, the basic wiki is functional. Your contribution

will go a long way in sharing this knowledge. Feel free to create an account,

login and create as many pages on any topic or word of Jyotish or spirituality.

 

Raja Ravi Verma 3 Albums

Someone had presented me with some great digital pictures of Raja Ravi Verma,

one of the greatest people of the bygone days who had revolutionised the worship

of Hindu gods at home with his brilliant art. These are in three albums. These

pictures are very old and cannot have any copyright, so feel free to use them

(appropriately) and share them with everyone. More than a hundred pictures of

800 x 600.

 

Groups and Forums

Group software has been installed and you are free to form groups to have any

sort of discussion related to Jyotish. There are no restrictions, so long as you

are talking about jyotish and not what Shah Ruk Khan is eating for breakfast.

The forums will automatically be created for each group you create and will

automatically be deleted when you delete the group. Groups are private and the

one who creates a group is the moderator and manager of the group. You can also

invite and add people who are not members of SoHamsa website.

Jaimini Scholars who had created groups earlier which were not functioning

properly are requested to delete these groups and make new groups for their

students/classes. I have not seen any announcement about classes or activities.

Please do update your profile picture and some information about yourself so

that we can se a human face associated with a name.
