If there are indications of problems associated with marriage, then the marriage might happen in antra of planet having lowest points, or in antra of lord of 6th or lord of 12th from B. 2. LoD and LoE are always eager to give results, then their antra can give results. 3. If the samdharmi antra comes first, then it can give the result for the planet with highest points or LoD or LoE. We all need to practice the art the finding the correct antra first. All else shall follow. I shall assume that the time is correct. Let's analyse the chart: su and ve difference is 45.3 degrees. Jupiter aspects ve. Jupiter also has malefic sight on 7th house. me and ma cannot give results. ma has more points and is aspected by Sa with less points. Most probably the affair has been going on for some time in private. The marriage shall happen in 1st sector of Ra antra. My purpose of posting my mail is to request someone among you to bring me out of a great dilemma. I am a 29 yr old male working as a geologist in a leading oil and gas exploration company. It happened so that two years back I came in contact with an astrologer of Varanasi (ex BHU professor) of immense fame. My interaction with him started with a match making process for my marriage, which hasn't materialized yet. Time passed and the match making continued with every proposal landing nowhere. The reccomended matches couldn't materialize due to reasons unknown and interesting matches were ruled out by him based on ashtakota guna match reasons. During this time my personal predictions were also made by him and remedies as suggested by him were sincerely done by me - Shukra Shanti and Kaal Sarp Dosha Shaanti in Ujjain. I know very little of astrology and staying in New Delhi it is always not possible for me to communicate with him Varanasi. I also tried to get any interesting proposal matched in true sense by few of the famous astrologers in Delhi. But every time such a certification is not managable. I sincerely want someone to clarify few of the thumb rules which I follow as given below - 1. Myself being a non-manglik both in Lagna and Chandra Kundali I reject proposals of Mangliks esp with Mars in 7th and 8th house. I only consider proposals of Mangliks if Guna match is above 26/27 with full graha Maitri (with Nadi match also), sometimes when bhakoot is zero I still consider the match as a possible one. 2. My seventh lord Venus is ill placed is sixth house with ninth lord Moon, so I emphasize more on Kundalis with a strong position of seveth lord. Although I do not completely rule out sucha match. 3. I never rule out a proposal with a low guna match of 16.5 where there is bhakoot and gan mismatch but with full graha maitri and nadi. 4. I have been told by some people that placement of Saturn with Mars scales down Manglik effect. My personal experience in interaction with jatakas with such combination had made me think opposite to this and I have found them to be arrogant and argumentative, which is further aggravated if Sun has a drishti. My birth details are - date - 20 March 1980, time - 00:06, place - New Delhi. In my education I have got a MSc degree from one of the IITs, although I have been a very average student life long. I studied geology and started my career in the same line as a mineral exploration geologist in a govt firm in Jamshedpur, where I used to work in deep undergoround Uranium mines to extract uranium ores. Now I am working in another semi-govt firm but explore for oil and gas. Very few people in this country choose this line as a career, may be this is visible in my birth chart. My poor position of 7th lord venus haunts me. Many have told that this blindly shows a high level of misunderstanding with spouse, while few have opined that my career will make me stay abroad for substantial periods in future, in places which may keep me away from my spouse for long times. I have been wearing a big pearl in my right anamika finger (for 9th lord), a golden snake in my left middle finger (for Kaal Sarp) and a red coral as a pendant (for running Mangal maha dasha). It is my own observation that wearing pearl has somehow affected my mental association with my job, which directly involves creative reserach thinking. I will welcome comments on this point also as my 10th lord is in 5th and there is an exchange of 5th lord Jupiter and 10th lord Sun. Please reply to my concerns as written above esp. with more attention to my match making criteria. Whatever I have written above is just few things I have learnt on my own and from my interaction with the concerned astrologer in Varanasi.
