For this thread i am givng my details.

My Shani does aspect the Lagna, moon & my Lagna lord.

As such my nature is wiity, but i do come under depression. Till date i was putting the reason for that to my moon. Which is also severly afflicted. I always feel of quitting the job & can hardly handle tension. but main thing is once you know the problem, what is the solution for that. Respected gurujans can see the chart & comment.

Both Lagna and Moon have strong Agni planets - Moon has Mars in digbala while the Lagna has Sun in Leo. Some texts call this Mars-Saturn opposition as unmada yoga which is NOT madness. It is exhileration. The person laughs all the time, even in the face of death he or she will laugh. Thats the peculiar power of Mars when aspected by Saturn, the lord of its exaltation sign. Jupiter also causes unmada when aspected by Saturn from 7th house as Saturn is the lord of its debility sign. However, Jupiter will see sorrow and will laugh only after a very great struggle. The principle that you have indicated about Saturn seems to totally fail in the following horoscope. Saturn aspects both Moon and Lagna by occupying 4th house. Interestingly, the native is running Sat-Moon period now. The native was never even close to anything called depression. I wonder it could be because Saturn is yogakaraka from Moon. Am I correct?

I don't think Thakur Ramakrishna was depressed at all. He was in constant joyous ecstasy. I think Moon in Saturn sign just makes the mind traditional or simply old. It is the drsti of shani, particularly graha drsti which is very depressing - be it on the Moon or Lagna or even the lagnesh.

Whichever house shani is placed is the root of sorrow in life - this applies to varga as well.

If u hv a look at the chart of the native it clearly indicates that the native is a Posthumous child, meaning child born after the death of father when the child is in motherâ€™s womb.

Elder brother was adopted by elder brother of father as he had no kids. he is very well to do but never helped native, instead kept pushing him into mote troubles. Started work at early age and had a good career but due to medical reasons had to spend all his savings. restarted career but never made big. every time any opportunity came, the circumstances changed and either the opportunity was lost or losses occurred. 1) As per my understandign there is difference in the outlook of sorrow & depression. A person can come under depression due to sorrow but not the vice versa. Is the Aspct of Shani on Lagna, Moon & lagna Lord makes the person depressed. What if the moon is also afflicted.
