|| Om Gurave Namah ||Dear Friends,Some more of my free thoughts on Panchanga today. Hope you enjoy and appreciate it. Your views are welcome. In Panchanga we know that Tithi and Karana are closely related. The Karana is half a Tithi and in other words it's told that Karana is child of Tithi. Tithi controls the water, emotions, hormones etc. Karana is work, The work done due to desire and create. In Living beings various hormones and enzymes drives us to various work. Depending on Hora (The half, the wealth, resource etc) of Tithi the work(karana) can vary.

In another similarity Nakshatra and Yoga are same. Nakshatra is the wind (indicating movement, separation etc) and Yoga is union. Yoga is the binding force when Nakshatra separates Yoga Units. It brings us together. The Nakshatra is 27/28 division of Space. The same division is used for Yoga.

The Nakshatra Deities are the Uniting factor. The Deity unites. Various Nakshatra has various Deities when we worship them, by Karma Yoga, Gyana Yoga, Bhakti Yoga we get united to Deity. The same nakshatra has now become Yoga.

The 4th house/Cancer is for Yoga. 4th house is for mother, moksha, vahana/vehicle, jati/your own people etc. The 4th nakshatra/Rohini is also the creator like the mother and it's symbols is a vehicle (Cart). The 4th and 4th from 4th form the Chuturasra. the 8th house on next level vibration is worship(12+8 = 20 Vimsamsa). The 8th Nakshatra is Pushya.

The Panchanga Yoga is calculated from Pushya Nakshatra it's formula is Sun + Moon + 7xNakshatra. The HoDaa Chakra the phoneme associations starts from Pushya Nakshatra the 8th Nakshatra represents the mother and it usually falls in 4th house. The Hodaa chakra gives phonemes to nakshatra The sounds or mantra unites. Sound represents the ether element to unite and hence it aptly commences from Pushya Nakshatra.

Maharishi Parashara after considering 5th house for Raja yoga, then mentions the importance of 2nd and 4th house (

And also we can add up degree of any two grahas and see the 8th nakshatra from that point to see how the yoga fructifies. (Similar to Sun and Moon addtion and add 7 nakshatra space to get the 8th nakshatra). These additions can be done for grahas already conjoined in a rashi in Rashi chart. Let me try out these in some charts and post it to you later.
