Dasamsa chart...which is more important, dasamsa lagna, or dasamsa lord 10

Dear Jyotish,

 

I am trying to assess my career strengths, to find out if it is more worth

pursuing my present path in music, or to change to a more intellectual career,

like jyotish, just want to pay my bills, which music has not done, my chart is

oct 12, 1978 7:56 am, wilmington DE, USA, edt.... i have my amatyakaraka surya,

in my third house in dasamsa, which is also the lord of house 10, in dasamsa. My

lagna, in dasamsa is in Anuradha, what i am curious about is, does that have

greater strength than lord 10? should i weather the storm, in hopes that my

music career will take a better turn, or study jyotish further, and does guru in

house 10, in pushya, flavor the outcome? i am in quite a dilemma, i would

greatly appreciate any guidance... thank you, best wishes,
