Guest guest
|| Om Gurave Namah || Dear Guruji, Solar eclipses are visible only on center locations on earth, we also saw in the recently occurred eclipse. And, We know eclipse is caused by Sun and moon coming in Rahu path (or mouth). Since the eclipse is seen only on certain parts of the world it made me think whether we take Rahu's position as topocentric i.e it's position will depend on lattitude and longitude on earth. So in some parts of the world the Sun-Moon may just miss the Rahu path and hence the eclipse is not visible. I have still not given a proper thought about the calculations etc. Please tell if this idea sounds right. Warm Regards, Sanjay P
