Respected Manoj ji,Sadar Pranam!Thank you for your notice and response. I understand what you say. I think I've always known that & so never tried to get into any Journalism Course, even though it always tingled the back of my mind! In fact, the kind of career I prefer is very different, with a lot of security, and Writing as a vocation is simply opposite, exciting but way too dynamic for my relaxed attitude. But I can't remain without wondering over it. You rightly pointed about the "star value" in this profession. But let us keep aside professional writing for a while. You'll agree with me that there are writers out there whose writing and more specifically, the content of it, is so poor, you would never even read them, but they are Hit, they're in demand. And there are beautifully gifted writers in many regional languages who can't have the fate of even getting published. Writing, perhaps consists of two things, style of writing itself and the content of it. A beautiful mind is always working behind! How does one see these components astrologically?I don't know anything, but there are few things visible in your horoscope. Mercury is AmK and on A10, being aspected by Dashamesh Saturn. Can this give a career in writing? Moon(aspected by Venus) is on A3 and gives & receives rashi drishti to & from Mercury. Can this bring beauty to your writing? Could Ketu's influence on Mercury have taken you to computer related writing? You're a writer and must have many writer friends. And then you're an astrologer too. You must have studied the play of planets in this art! Forget about money/popularity/getting published etc. In your study/observation, which planets/yogas confer the gifts of this art?I remember, one astrologer told me, I'll get into trouble because of writing. It could be anything, a professional letter or even a signature!?!...Your sincerely,Kunal. sohamsa , Manoj Sharma <manojsharma662000 wrote:>> Hi Utkarsha,> > I have been a professional writer all throughout my life so far. Om Namah Shivaya,

If you look at the rashi chart, why are you looking at Saturn? As per the

Jaimini saturn can be successful in any line taken. Besides, it is in 11th house

so blessing of Ketu or Ganesh can sit in Lagna. That is true since you write

technical software writing and are interested in spirituality. 10th house from

Moon is lorder by Moon aspected by Guru and Shukra, so the combination for

writing career is perfectly explained. Further Moon is in 6th house of

service.10th from Moon is also 3rd house from Lagna, the house of writing.

Your Navamsa shows that you have Venus in Lagna aspected by Chandra which gives

a good writer. The inspiration for writing is missing due to debilitated Guru in

8th house not involving this Yoga. Guru has to be strong to give writing

inspiration and has to involve with Moon and Venus.

As per your dasamsa, Saturn the 10th lord from Rashi chart, is called Narajan

and controls the Karma. He is in Dhanu Rashi, lorded by Guru aspected by Moon and

Venus, again a combination for writer. To write books Mercury has to be in 10th,

6th or 2nd in Dasamsa, while in your Dasamsa, being in 2nd house proves that you

had a writing career. 2nd from Saturn is Rahu in digbala and Mercury dispositor

Sun is in MKS, which indicates that after shifting abroad, that type of career

has to change..The point is that Mercury is in Simha which is Agni tatva rashi,

so you have been destined to do that karma... I must stop here...

Best wishes

Zoran

Respected Sanjayji had once told me that since Saturn is also badhkesh in

am presuming that Saturn denied me all its significations by the virtue of

Venus combining with Moon makes for a Visual media journalist; Rahu, Saturn and

even i am a writer, been into writing for 10 years, since last 3 years writing

for training and elearning.

i edited around 15 books and wrote number of articles. But i dont have budh in

arthatrikona in dasamsa. Guru in neecha in 8th as the 10th lord, so far changed

10 jobs, one job lasted for five years, and the shortest was three hours.

to be analyzed in view of 'desh, kaal and parasthithi'. And whatever little

financial prosperity I gained, it is because I got into IT (software technica

writing). If you analyze my financial prosperity from western point of view, I

am sure that I belong to 'middle class'. I will give you a small example here. I

have been planning to buy an apartment in Pune and trust me I can not afford it.

A decent apartment in decent neighbourhood is costing over one crore ( 300, 000

USD). I have a good house (a bungalow what you guys call in India) with a small

smimming pool in it. But that is in Canada. I so very desperately want to own a

small apartment in India and it is just beyond my means....so basically I am

poor...I still feel that I have strong moorings in India and that is the place

for me...and what I am

professional journalist and was working with The Times of India before I

immigrated to Canada in 2000. After coming to Canada, I got into software

technical writing and now I write computer books. It is funny because when I was

a teenager I never fancied myself eking out a livelihood from writing.. It was

by strange quirk of fate that I landed into this profession. In fact, I hated

being a writer and wanted to leave this profession. But more I tried, more I

was sucked into it like being sucked into a vortex. I still hate writing, but

this is all what I know, and now I have given up even thinking to get out of

this profession.

house is in 11th. So this should have given me some technical profession.

Respected Sanjayji had once told me that since Saturn is also badhkesh in

my chart, it has failed to give good results. I was training to be a commercial

pilot in late eighties, but had to opt out because of some medical problem. So I

am presuming that Saturn denied me all its significations by the virtue of

being badhkesh. My Mercury and Moon are also not that very great. In fact, Moon

is placed in the sixth house, thereby turning completely malefic.

Guruji(Sanjay ji) only. And you're right in that I don't have any such yogas, &

moreover, my Mercury is pathetically weak, I'm sorry about myself ;-) ...but I

like the art and am more into  appreciation of this art!  Actually I like many

art forms of which music and writing fascinate me the most. So I've tried to

look at them astrologically too. The Parashar software has a whole index of

writers but I could never find any pattern(often I find Mercury in 11th)!

Venus combining with Moon makes for a Visual media journalist; Rahu, Saturn and

Jupiter assist. Saturn & Jupiter are the photojournalist' s assets. For the

normal print media person AmK needs to interact with Mercury, and/or Mars. Moon,

Jupiter contact is a welcome addition.

Malavya Yoga in my chart can manifest! I found that, Venus is in Capricorn in

Also A3 is in 7th with Venus. So I constructed that Malavya should manifest

through 3rd house matters! Now, what does 3rd house signify? One is writing,

others I'm not sure... ?? Also, Ketu is there, 5th from Saturn+Jupiter! What

does mean...?
