Guest guest
Dear Sanjayji, In your book, you have mentioned that " Vishnu rises along the vertical upwards to find the end of the column of light..... " and that " Prajapati Brahma makes the jorney along the vertical downwards to ascertain the beginning of the column..... " This is just the reverse of what the Shiva Purana in Vidyeshwar Samhita mentions. It says through various slokas, that Brahma took the form of a swan (Hamsa) and soared upwards while Vishnu took the form of a Boar (Sukara) and dived downwards. ityuktvasukaratanurvishnuh..... tatha brahmahamsatanuh.... ....sukaraharih prapa purvam.... atha gacchamastu vyomanam cha vidhistata pitaa tava Yet you choose to mention and even explain it the other way round. Previously my questions pertaining to Brhat Nakshatra book have gotten me no answers, and it hasnt stopped me from reading your books :-). If I dont get an answer to this one, I wont mind, but I sincerely hope that you would introspect. Best wishes for Shivaratri. Best Regards, SS
Guest guest
Dear SS We are te ones who are upside down. Guest guest
Dear Sanjayji, Agreed. The point is what has been quoted in the book as being from Shiva Purana is in contrast to what Shiva Purana mentions. Guest guest
Dear SR, Shiva purana says: bhittvA pAtAlanilayaM gatvA duurataraM hariH According to this, Vishnu went far beyond Patala. So since we are upside down, and Shiva Purana mentions Vishnu going down and far beyond patala, then, is patala above? (towards our head-end)? mysticalsense. The pendulum of the mind alternates between sense and nonsense, not between right and wrong. > > sohamsa , "guruji" sjrath@ wrote:> >> > Dear SS> > We are te ones who are upside down.
