Guest guest
Dear Mona: Very interesting dream, have you ever had any similar type of dreams? My wife at times has similar dreams. For example, a grandmother in her family was near death, and my wife saw her in her dream. We had long been expecting the death of the grandmother. In the dream, the grandmother said that she would not die first, but that my wife would spend time in a hospital instead. Sure enough, my wife had a cyst that required surgery. A few days later, I had a sudden disease that put me in hospital for ten days. My wife stayed by my side the entire time, so we spent ten days in hospital together. The grandmother died a few weeks later. She sometimes dreams of her deceased family members and they have important messages to communicate to us or family members. The I Ching says that your dream means that you have the ability to take command. What time did you have this dream, do you recall? I had an unusual dream today. Today early morning, I saw my deceased grandfather in my dream. There was some wedding in the house and I was inviting him on phone to come to wedding as this is the last one in the family. It is very unsual because my grandfather had broken all family attachments and became and ascetic the day my father was born. I have hardly seen my grandfather one or two times. And it has been almost 20 years now, that he passed away. I never even had any thought about him. I am very surprised at this dream. He was a great devotee of Sri Raghavendra Swami and has established several mutts. He himself was a great veena player. He is quite well known for his ascetism among kannada speaking people. He used to follow mouna vrat for several years, without talking to anyone. In the dream, I was talking to him and he was making gestures, I think affirming that he will attend the wedding or something like that. In my family, my younger brother is the one left for marriage and we are not thinking about his marriage for some time now, atleast 3-4 years. What is the meaning of this dream, Please advise. Guest guest
Thanks for your email. Yes, I do get dreams of deceased family members especially my father. He passed away 7 years ago. I sometimes get dreams of something that is going to happen, like my co-sister having a second baby girl and she didnt seem happy about it. My friends having babies, knew their gender also. This was kind of strange dream for me because I never ever had any relationship with my paternal grandfather. I used to only hear stories about him from his disciples who used to visit us sometimes.
