While defining collective attributes to houses, Some bhransha sanskrit terms are used in classics of Jyotish or vedic astrology, bhransh terms shows foreign influence on our culture, Our ancient universities were burnt to ashes and when after the chaos, we restored ourselves back, Our Jyotish had become Darbari as it required protection and recognition both for it's survival.

There has been a downside of the Darbari Jyotish, Varah Mihira like astrologers had become over influencial as they were dominating the tradition due to their position.

The classics composed in this era though contains the Vedic Knolwedge in essence, The manner they are written still exhibit deterioration of culture because of firstly attacks and subsequent business exchange.

In Jyotish, four kendras signifies - 1. Atma (Self) , 4. Matra (Mother) 7. Kalatra (Spouse) 10. Pitra (Father).

Kendras are "Aatmiya Sthaan" or houses related to native himself.

In Sanskrit, the term - "Krama" signifies - sequence or order, Added with prefix (Upsarga), it makes other terms to tell about - In the defined order (Anu-Krama) or Reverse order (Ut-Krama).

Houses in the reverse of Kendras are - 12, 9, 6, 3 which are collectively known as AAP-OKLIM.

The term AAP-OKLIM IS bhransha of ATM-OKTRAM as it's clearly seen by the houses signified by it.

Bhranshita AAPOKLIM looks so much alien to hindi or to sanskrit, It's origin is not understood by some of new age jyotish scholars, and they mis interpreted that Jyotish is not Indian.

They so called scholars used availability of One or two such terms in Jyotish classics as a tool to propogate false theories that Jyotish is of Greek origin.

This is the reason vedic scholars like BANA BHATTA of Gupta age and post Gupta age badly criticized Varah-Mihira and others like him for introducing such a impurity in Jyotish.
