Guest guest
Avimukta kshetra †" Kashi; Mokshada Kashi || OM NAMAH SHIVAY || Ujjayinyam Maha Kalam, Omkaram, amaleshwaram || Paralyam Vaidyanathan cha, Dakinyam Bhimasankaram | Sethubandhe thu Ramesam, Nagesam Darukavane || Varanasyam thu Viswesam, Trayambakam Gouthami thate | Himalaye thu Kedaram, Ghushmesan cha Shivalaye || Ethani Jyothirlingani sayam pratha pathen naraha | Saptha janma krutham papam, smaranena vinasyathi || It is confluence of three rivers where Ganga, Varuna and Asi join the Ganges. MAA Ganga hugs this city as ardhachandrakar. Like a bow to please lord Shiv. Vishwanatha or Vishweshwara meaning the Ruler of the universe. The temple town is the oldest living city in the world, with 3500 years of documented history. Due to this 15.5m high golden spire, the temple is sometimes called as the Golden Temple. Gold is the purest metal in the universe; healers call it “the Master Healerâ€. Gold’s lack of toxicity and its scientific properties of incredible malleability and ability to conduct energy, while remaining resistant to wear and corrosion, make it highly useful for Medical Science. Gold to be an energy generator and remover of blockages with the power to strengthen, amplify and conduct energy in the body for the treatment of autism, dyslexia, epilepsy and scoliosis. Gold spurs the regeneration of neurotransmitters in both lobes of the brain and creates a balance of brain function between creative and logical thought. It also benefits the nerves with its ability to improve the flow of information through the body. In the world of spiritual healing, Gold has the emotional power to ease tension, feelings of inferiority, anger as well as encouraging the realization of one’s potential and bringing comfort. So if you see a place of worship being covered in gold; start thinking differently. Domes of palces of spitrituality are covered in gold; it is to allow the pure divine energy to flow downward and uplift those who are praying underneath it. It is not a show of wealth. Nirvikar Chitnya and Sanatan Brahma have assumed the form of Saguna Vishwarupa from the Nirgun Roopa or form. Panchakoshi Kashi was created by Sagun Shiv and MAA Shakti. SRI Vishnu tilled his head, a gemstone fell from his ear. Because of this place, it was also called Manikarnika. The entire Panch Koshi, area of Manikarnika waters were then gathered into the Trident by Shiva. Brahma created this wonderful with karmic dosha world. It had fifty crore Yojanas of area and fourteen lokas. In order to save the lives of these who are bound by their own actions or karma. Shiva kept panchakoshi city away from the entire universe. In this city, Shiva Himself established the saviour Muktidayak JyotirLinga, which He can never leave. Shiva removed this very Kashi from His Trident and set it in this mortal world. It cannot be destroyed when Brahma’s day ends, or PRALAY i.e., final destruction of the world. Sri Shiva saved it by keeping it safe in his trident. So the kashi is called avimukta kshetra. In Kashi, the Avimukteshwar Linga, jyotiswaroopa is visible to all who wishes to have HIS darshan. Those who can never hope for salvation, attain Moksha here. This holiest city of Panchakoshi, with its capacity to destroy every conceivable sin, is the vehicle of a special Moksha by the name “Samyughaâ€. That is the reason why this city which is ruled by Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesha, MOKHADAYINI KASHI. A place where every Sanatandhami wishes to die but it is a spiritually alive city. Sarwaguna from inside and Tamoguna from outside, these are the qualities of Rudra here. Varanasi is very very holy city and auspicious city. Dandapani and Kalabhairav guard this city. They have been there right from the times of Vedas. Its said that Bhagwan Sri Ram came here and stayed. Panch Pandava also came here and established SHIVLING. Mahaprabhu Sri Chaitannya came here. This is the place where so many noble and enlightened men stayed for long time like †" The temple is widely recognized as one of the most important places of worship in Hindu religion and most of the leading Hindu saints, including Adi Sankaracharya, Ramakrishna Paramhansa, Swami Vivekananda, Goswami Tulsidas, Swami Dayananda Saraswati, Gurunanak Vaskar Rao, Tailangswami, Katia Baba, Swami Avdhoot, Sant Kinaram, Swami Bisudhyananda, Shyama charan Lahiri etc. As Puran says Kashi Vishwanath Baba is divided in to 3 parts of Trishul [1]Kedareshwar [2] Vishweshwar [3] MahaMritunjay. According to puran the person who stays at the end of his life time gets moksha.Kashi Vishwanath gives tarak mantra to get moksha. People who live in kashi get Aarth, Dharma, Karma, Moksha. Spiritual Awakening, Liberation, Spiritual Enlightenment Mokhsa== Moha(passion) + Kshaya (destroy). Moksha / Mukti is the state wherein there are no attachments and aversion. " Moksha " effectively stands for the blissful state where there are no desires. When all the karmic forces surrounding the soul are completely destroyed, the ätmä/the soul becomes Paramätmä or the supreme soul. This Paramätmä is cut off from the birth and rebirth cycle. All scriptures state that Moksha is the natural state of the soul. It is a journey by the soul to attain this Moksha and it can be attained by one's own efforts by stopping the influx of Karmas and eradication of Karmic Forces. " Moksha " should be the only objective of one's life. How do we start this journey? Simple; Surya Mnamsker to Sri Adi Dev (he is namaskar priya), Alankar to Sri Vishnu (He had Mohini: MAA Laxmi) and Abhishek to Sri Devadhidev Mahadev Bholenath (He took the poison from the samundra manthan in Shravan Maas). Offer MAA Ganga water ( Amrit, nector) from Kashi to Sri Devadhidev mahadev in Rameshwar. Then taking a little sand from Rameshar back to MAA Ganga the pilgrimage is complete; as if MAA ganga is wating to receive Sand Parthiv Shivling. This is where Bhagwan Sri Ram danced, after performimg parthiv shiv pooja on 15th day in the month of Ashadha, an ecstasy dance. “Varanasitu Bhuvantrya sarabhoota’ Ramya Nrinaam Sugatidakhil Sevyamana†Atragata Vividha dushkritkarinopi’ Papakshaye virajasaha sumanaprakashah†- Narada Puran Viswanath Temple of Kashi (Varanasi) is very famous and very auspicious temple to all Sanatandharmi. This is Jyotirling Shiva. One ton of gold donated by Maharaja Ranjit Singh has been used in the gold plating of the spire. The temple was destroyed in the various invasions and was rebuilt in 1777 by Rani Ahilyabai of Indore. Let us all build temples of divinity in us and around us.
