The upaya for anger is to keep a copper coin [ without a hole] dipped in either rain water or ganga jal. [ 2 ] For mars + saturn in the 8th some lalkitabists suggest the shamshan pani upaya. No harm in doing that. But in some families keeping shamshan water at home is not considred auspicious and therefore they feel psychologically unfortable with this upaya. But this combination forms an exalted Rahu [ uchcha rahu]. Therefore keeping a small square piece of silver will be helpful. If necessary, 8 pieces of lead [ a metal ] can also be immersed in a river on any Thursday after sun set and before it gets dark. [ 3 ] No upaya should be done for the younger son till he is 12 years old. Yes for the elder one, you can do the shamshaan water upaya. But I would suggest that you make him gift a few grains of rice at any temple for 7 days regularly. But make sure there is no planet in the 2nd house which is an enemy of the moon.
