Respected Priyaji,

My father will be going to Rishikesh to do the Pitr-rin uppaya. Before he sets

out, he wanted some clarity on the uppaya so if you could please guide him:

1. By doing this burning kaudi uppaya, will it be beneficial to his daughters'

(me and my sisters)husbands and families or is it beneficial only for his and my

mother's blood relatives? The main reason he wants to do this remedy is to

ensure the prosperity of his daughters husbands and children. He prays this

uppaya will cover them.

2. For counting the # of members, should he include his daughters husbands and

his grandson?

3. Should he include my husband's family? for example-my father-in-law,

father-in-law's brother etc?

4. Should he include the deceased from my husband's family while counting the

members?

5. The last time he tried to burn the kaudis, they did not burn. Can he add

something else in the earthen pot so that the kaudis can burn like camphor etc?

My apologies for so many questions Priyaji but we want to make sure this time

around the uppaya is done effectively and for the family members he so desires.

Our deepest thanks..

Neena and my father
