Guest guest
Dear Jigyasa, I too have been in teaching profession for 40 years. I retired as a professor from the Indian Institute of technology, Delhi. I know that doing a PhD is very crucial for you. Therefore you should revive your lapsed registration and get back to it seriously. I have gone through your Chaturvinshansh chart [ D-14 ] to find out the problems that you might face while doing your PhD. I am suggesting a few upaya which might help you get over those obstructions. [ 1 ] Wear a gold chain. [ 2 ] Every day apply tilak of haldi paste between your eye brows. [ 3 ] Every day recite the beej mantra for Jupiter 108 times a day. get the beej mantra from the group files. Sincerely, Priya , " jigyasa.knowledge " <jigyasa.knowledge wrote: > > Respected Pt. Within a short span thereafter my career showed marked improvement - I was appointed as an Assistant Professor in a leading institute and have recently been promoted as an Associate Professor. In these two years I have published several papers and case studies. > > Panditji one problem I have had is about completing Ph.d. I had regristered for Ph.d sometime in the 90s but due to pressure of work at that time I could not complete it, although I had obtained extension till 1997 and finished the Pre Ph.d exams too. Now a Ph.d has become essential for further career growth. > > I do not know whether to make efforts to revive the lapsed Ph.d although it appears that as per university rules the matter is closed (even my original degree is still lying with them) Or seek fresh registration elsewhere? Guest guest
Respected Pandit Priya Bushan ji, I have beed doing the upayes suggested by you since the last 3 months and given an application for extension of time for Ph.D in July 09 but as per official communication received now after two months they have conveyed in writing that the request is rejected. Unofficially, someone could approach the VC and he has cconveyed that let him prepare thesis and come back but I do not know if after putting in 6-8 months of field research and writing thesis if anything will come of this since officially the application is rejected. I am at a loss to understand as to what I should do now? Incidentally the gold chain I was wearing broke about 10 days back and had to be kept aside. I shall be obliged if you could kindly review my chart and give further suggestions. my particulars are: DOB: June13, 1955 TOB: 10.18 p.m. POB: Delhi kind regards, jigy101 , " " < wrote: > > Dear Jigyasa, > > I too have been in teaching profession for 40 years. Guest guest
Dear Jiggy, Unless you get the order reversed in writing, you should not believe in any verbal assurances. Once your request for extension has been rejected, it would be very difficult to get the decision overturned. I am not aware of any upaya which could help you in this situation. Sincerely, Priya , " Jigyasa " <jigyasa.knowledge wrote: > > Respected Pandit Priya Bushan ji, > > I have beed doing the upayes suggested by you since the last 3 months and given an application for extension of time for Ph.D in July 09 but as per official communication received now after two months they have conveyed in writing that the request is rejected. > > I shall be obliged if you could kindly review my chart and give further suggestions. > > my particulars are: > DOB: June13, 1955 TOB: 10.18 p.m. POB: Delhi > > kind regards, > jigy101 > > , " " <@> wrote: > > > > Dear Jigyasa, > > > > I too have been in teaching profession for 40 years.
