Yes, I look for possible obstruction from the planets for which I suggest remedies. Invariably I go through the divisional charts also depending on the query;e.g D-24 for education,D-9 for marriage and marital harmony,D-7 for progeny, D-10 for profession and so on. The planetary strength [ shad bal] comes quite handy in these matters. I also look for conducive time span through Vinshottari dasha/antar/prtyantar. At times I also have a look at the transits. I do not go into Jamini system because I am not good at that. Although I am good at Ashtakvarg but I seldom consult it because it is very time consuming to corelate it with the transits.
