Thanks very much for your reply. Can my mother do Maha mritagaya jaap on my

behalf, Can I do for some days and she do for some days or only one person has

to do the jaap.

Dear Erin,

 

Since the Mantra prays for " pati poshanam " i.e. my husband should look after

me, give me maintenance, therefore the mantra has to be recited by you only. No

body else can recite it on your behalf.
