thank you for your help; i have just one more question, about where you say to

do this:

[a] Keep with her a small piece of any silver ornament that you [her mother]

have worn.

 

i do not think that her mother will be very helpful about giving such a silver

ornament; is it possible that i could give my daughter a silver ornament that i

have worn- such as a silver ring? I am her father!

 

would that still be effective?
